He Is Me is about both Steve March Tormé's real
father Mel Tormé and his stepfather Hal March. The lyrics are more
metaphorical than they are literal but it's basically a recognition
of how much he learned from both of them and how much he appreciates
what they gave him.the song is written and performed by Steve and
is on his new CD "inside/out".
